This video is so beautiful and so true...I cried when watching it. I've been dealing with anxiety/depression off and on since November 2001, and I've had times myself when I thought of ending my own life in order to be done with the pain once and for all. It's true, there are moments of beauty and magic amidst the moments of pain. I know this because I've experienced them, and they were/are worth staying alive for! I wish I could have told both Arwen and her mother (who chose the same path herself recently)this, that I could have said to them, "Please, don't give up, the world needs you, life can be good again." Adam, good luck with your Project for Awesome, and thanks for this video.

Thank you for this beautiful and heartfelt video. I look forward to meeting you some day. Your insights are moving and helpful to everyone. We all do feel like we could and should have done more to save Ari. It is so hard to accept or even understand. I will never be the same without her, but I will celebrate her life, her talent, and her boundless love for fun, adventure, and silliness. I strive to be as brave as an artist as she was, and she inspires me every day.

All our love and blessings to you. Thank you so much.
Elizabeth Morgan Tyler, Arwen's Auntie

Adam, You did such a GREAT video on the Occupy Tacoma march. I was there, but it's nice to be able to see it all the way you put it together. It is really powerful and I hope to see more...more videos, more marches, more people becoming part of Occupy Tacoma/Wall Street. Thanks!

Digital Popcorn.

Surfing the Internet was like eating digital popcorn. You go into the bowl reaching for a small handful of items. Then you keep reaching back in because everything is so delicious. The problem is that the bowl is endless and having a non-stop diet of popcorn can leave you feeling more than a little sick.

Using the Internet constructively is a different matter. If you go in limiting yourself to the items you immediately need, like following a recipe for a sound meal, and keep on task - you can get your work done.

The problem is that folk tend to think that surfing is searching. I know it's a problem for me. I've always been easily distracted. During college I gave up watching television as I knew it would affect my study habits even having a boob tube in the room. It's a constant battle for me now to stay on task when I'm facing an endless source of knowledge and entertainment in the same box I'm supposed to be getting my work done through. I find it necessary to place limits on myself, and even turning the damn thing off so that I can get work done.
