Project for Awesome: Suicide

Below you can find a list of resources for help, whether you’re struggling with suicidal thoughts or urges yourself, you know someone who has taken their life and you’re trying to cope, or you’re worried that someone may be headed that way. This is not a complete list by any means, so please, if you know of an organization or charity that addresses this issue, please send me a message with a link and I’ll add it here.

Please also consider donating to the Arwen Morgan Memorial Fund and also check out the Project for Awesome home page to find more great causes to support.

Thank you for this beautiful and heartfelt video. I look forward to meeting you some day. Your insights are moving and helpful to everyone. We all do feel like we could and should have done more to save Ari. It is so hard to accept or even understand. I will never be the same without her, but I will celebrate her life, her talent, and her boundless love for fun, adventure, and silliness. I strive to be as brave as an artist as she was, and she inspires me every day.

All our love and blessings to you. Thank you so much.

This video is so beautiful and so true…I cried when watching it. I’ve been dealing with anxiety/depression off and on since November 2001, and I’ve had times myself when I thought of ending my own life in order to be done with the pain once and for all. It’s true, there are moments of beauty and magic amidst the moments of pain. I know this because I’ve experienced them, and they were/are worth staying alive for! I wish I could have told both Arwen and her mother (who chose the same path herself recently)this, that I could have said to them, “Please, don’t give up, the world needs you, life can be good again.” Adam, good luck with your Project for Awesome, and thanks for this video.
