Sleepy and Tipsy

Hello, Earthlings. You’re watching Adam the Alien, and I’m filming in vertical today NOT to make any kind of point about vertical videos, but instead to make a point to you about sleep…and the importance of it.

And I am being a complete hypocrite, because I have not slept much, but this is why this is what I’m talking about today. Because I actually went out to the Tulip Festival today, but I want some more time to edit that footage. I’ve not been sleeping much, lately. I…I, uh, especially only got a few intermittent hours last night. And, uh…as a result, while I was sitting here just even pulling the footage of my phone, I fell asleep in my computer chair.

And, uh…that’s…that’s where we’re at right now.

I’m also…also, also: another lesson.

Don’t…don’t edit inebriated. They say, “Write drunk, edit sober,” and I definitely…I had wine. I had the first alcohol I’ve had in months, and so I’m a little loopy on top of the lack of sleep.

This is the importance…the importance of sleep. Yes…sleep.

So…that’s why you’re getting this video: so that I can sleep, and have more time to do another video.

Also, I’m very red right now. And, uh…that’s good photography.

A little splash of red makes the colors in any photo pop.

A little splash of red wine makes vlogging…difficult.

And I had more than a little splash.

I am going to call that the video.

I’m gonna get some sleep, and I’m gonna edit, uh, a much better video for you tomorrow.

This has been Vlog Every Day Aprrllll…April…day ten? I think? I’m tired.

But it’s a good tired. I feel…

I feel good today.

It’s been a good day.

It’s been a very good day, in fact.
