First Night is easily my favorite event out of the entire year. Tacoma’s way of ringing in the new year surpasses any other in terms of sheer enjoyment, and this year was no exception.

Every year, I try to drag more and more friends out, and this year I managed to get Paul Fleece of Norman Tweeter Productions to attend, camera in hand (though as his fingers do little in the way of movement, he required the help of our friend Jonathan and myself to actually hold said camera).
